What is Custom Robot Header Tags?

Google had added an amazing thing in Blogspot which is called "Custom header Robots tags" which are very important for blogs. This feature makes blogger better in the office of SEO because when we talk about WordPress vs Blogger, WordPress becomes the first choice for professional blogger but Google is trying its level best to make blogger more SEO friendly.
This basically tells search robots what to do index, the best benefit is that those posts which can effect site ranking will be not indexed. An other thing is that your those posts which are duplicate will not be indexed twice. Google introduces this feature so you had better set these to make your blog more SEO friendly and save it from the penalty of Google.

How to Set up Blogger for Custom Robots Header Tags?

To do these settings just follow below steps one by one. If you don't understand through texts there is video as well.

1. Go to the Setting in the blogger's Dashboard.

2. Click on Search Preferences as shown in below images.

3. Click "Edit" under custom robots header tag at number 03 as show in below picture.

4. Now opt out "Yes" as shown in bubble at number 04

5. Tick the options exactly as shown in below.

6. Now click on Save Changes and you have done it.
