In a case of Silicon Valley musical chairs, Alex Stamos, the Chief security officer of Yahoo Inc, who worked with Yahoo for more than a year is now hired by Social media giant Facebook.
Stamos �personal Facebook and Twitter posts reveals that he has been hired by Facebook and he will start working for social media giant officially on June 29. Stamos is filling a position vacated by Joe Sullivan, who left Facebook for Uber Technologies Inc. in April.
Stamos said he�s especially interested in helping Facebook stay secure as it works to add users in less-developed countries.He is also aiming to make (Facebook) company�s products more secure as its membership is growing leaps and bounds and has reached more than 1.44 billion recently.The company has an initiative, called Internet.org, to increase the amount of people online and to increase the web traffic as well.
