Hide your Folder with Ms Dos

Hiding a folder is very easy. Every one knows about it. We simply hide a folder by going to its properties or we use some kind of Folder hide Software or Folder Password Software to hide or lock our Folders. It is true that these both methods are accurate and working methods. But Every One knows about these things today and can easily disable your hide files. And if you use Software to Hide Files or to Lock Folder, you will have to provide a password to it. And what if you forgot your password? Have you thought about it? May be not.
                                         

Software for Folder Password

By using Software to hide your files, your folder would be hidden but you will have to learn how to operate that Software. There are different verities and function of these Soft wares. No one can not understand them all. If you forgot the Password that you provided than you will not be able to use your file again. Lock Folder with Password is efficient but some times it is very dangerous. Because it is a risk, you can lose your all data in just one attempt. Today I am going to tell you guys, How to hide your Folder without using any kind of software by using Ms Dos (Command Prompt). It is very easy and efficient method to Hide Folders, If some one enables your hidden files, he can not see that folder which you made hide.
Just follow the Steps below one by one and you will know how easy it is.

Textual Steps:

Step 1: Create a New Folder in any of your Drive (C: D: E: F: etc).

Step 2: Try to suggest the name of your New Folder without Spaces.

Step 3: Now open Run by pressing �win + r� and type �cmd� (Ms Dos Command).

Step 4: Now type �attrib +s +h (and your folder�s destination)�

Example: If you made your folder with the name abc in D: drive, then type �attrib +s +h D:\abc�

Step 5: Your folder has been hidden, how to show it back again? Type in cmd �attrib �s �h (and your folder�s destination)�
Example: Type �attrib �s �h D:\abc�
