WHAT IS DOMAIN?
DOMAIN IS LIKE THE NAME OF HOUSE:
In real life you are living some where and you are having your home along with its name.So in internet language the place you name is called as Domain.Every body must know what is Domain name? and what is the use of Domain ? Specially for the persons related to the Web Design Field and Blogging or affiliate must have the knowledge of Domain Name.Now I am describing about domain .
DOMAIN:
In website creation the name given to the website is called as Domain. Domain is the address or the name of website.People use Domain to identify their website.So when you browse the website you saw the domain name at the top of browser.Domain are some characters which specifies the Brand name ,companies name or person name.For example when you are browsing my site you will see www.labforblogging.com .
If you want to create a website without using free online provider you required a Domain name and hosting account.These two are completely different things.The domain is the your own www address on the internet and you have legal right to use it and no one except you can access it.Here i will add that free providers like blogger and word press and many more like this ,have certain limitation .but keeping your own domain you have to pay certain amount of fees per year.
You can directly register your domain name on the Domain Registrar like GoDaddy separately rather you can register it along with Hosting account.I prefer Godaddy as they allow you more control over your domain setting.If you make account separately than you have to link with your hosting account which i have explained in this article.

HOSTING IS LIKE HOUSING FOR THE CONTENT OF DOMAIN.As hosting is the place,space for your website to keep safe your files,data,videos etc on the web and only you can access it .The Hosting account also allow you the additional features to your website like email accounts and more.One these two are done then these two have to linked together. Godaddy allows you the both website hosting and Domain name registration but its up to you to select which one but there hosting packages are not like BlueHost.
